Best Media, a division of ADI Media, a leading advertising agency in the San Antonio and Houston area serving over 3,000 clients, is searching for passionate and motivated individuals to join our North and South Houston Media teams as Outside Sales Executives to handle advertising sales in digital/online marketing, magazine and guide sales for both existing and new customers.

We are seeking digitally-centric Outside Sales Executives knowledgeable in Magazine, Guide, Print, and Digital Marketing including websites, mobile sites, mobile apps, SEO, SEM, video marketing and social media. The ideal candidate should have the ability to be self-motivated and work with a sales team. The primary responsibility will be lead generation, following up and closing agreements. You will be accountable for achieving and exceeding sales goals and quotas.
This position is *salary + commission position, based upon sales goals and quotas, and is performance-oriented.
Generating and maintaining new accounts including prospecting and making premise and outbound telephone calls for appointments and presentations
Reviewing, managing, and growing existing account base
Assisting in the marketing plan of each client and creating ad campaigns and involved in the production process
Achieving sales goals/quotas
Ongoing communication with management on account status, daily sales figures, and specific market issues
Ability to handle paperwork and CRM (i.e. bids, ad layouts, contracts, etc.)
Ability to communicate with customers both orally and in writing with a strong ability to think on your feet
Active participant in weekly sales meetings
Ability to give presentations orally while utilizing visual Keynote presentations

Builds relationships with relevant partners in ad agency
Be a positive spokesperson for our agency at functions and in the community

Preferred 2+ years proven successful outside sales experience in a quota/commission based environment, but not essential
Experience in advertising sales,media sales, telephone directory, newspaper, internet or magazine environment would be beneficial but not mandatory
Skills working with and iPad or computer, preferably in Excel, Word, Keynote, and with general Web based interfaces such as Google, Yahoo, Social Media, etc.
Positive attitude, high character, competitive spirit and a sense of humor
Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
Must provide your own transportation and cell phone
